Jim McWhorter has been with the Flying Circus
since 1996. Jim learned to fly in 1978 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. In the
show, Jim takes a parachute jumper up in the Circus Stearman. The
parachutist then jumps out of the airplane and brings the American Flag down
by parachute.
Behind the Scenes
Jim has served onthe Board of Directors as Vice President and Member at Large where he was responsible for marketing, advertising, and event coordination.
When he is not at the Circus, Jim is either off flying with his wife, Jana Leigh in their 1984 Maule or they are out cruising on their motorcycles.
Jana Leigh and Jim we're married at the Flying Circus during the Airshow on June 5, 2006. They are the first, and so far, the only couple ever to be married at the Flying Circus Aerodrome.
